In the jaggery, there are sucrose 59.7%, glucose 21.8%, mineral liquid 26% and water content 8.86%. Apart from this jaggery also provides good amounts of calcium, phosphorus, and iron. Ingredients of jaggery and millet
Millet – 1 cup
Jaggery – 1 cup
Ghee – 3 glasses
Cardamom – 2
Water – half cup
Junk and millet laddus recipe
The method of making such kind of laddus is very easy. First, fry the millet in the pan until golden brown on low flame. Now put it in a plate and keep it cool. After that, heat the water in a pan and add jaggery to it and make a thick batter. When the jaggery becomes thick, add roasted millet and ground cardamom to it and mix it. Now heat one spoon of ghee and put it in the pan. Close the flame.
When the mixture gets a little cool, then make round-shaped laddoos about the mixture. Take your sesame and jaggery laddoos ready. You can store millet and jaggery laddus for a month. It is not bad at all. Due to making millets and jaggery together, it helps in keeping the heart, brain, and bones healthy. That is, these snacks are very beneficial in terms of health. You can eat it as a snack anytime. By eating it, the stomach is filled up till late, which helps in controlling the weight.
Benefits of millet for constipation
